(1) Vendor needs to provide resolving improper payments, preventing and detecting service to the government authority located in Washington, DC. • Consultant to produce a report examining how agencies prevent, detect, and resolve improper payments in federally administered programs under which the federal government disburses funds directly to private individuals and organizations for their own use. • Federal agencies pay out trillions of dollars each year under various programs.• Such payments include monetary benefits to eligible individuals; grant funding to individuals and organizations; tax refunds and credits; and Medicare fees to physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. Agencies are under continual pressure to ensure these payments are made accurately.
