Scope of Work
Vendor needs to provide lawncare services to the government authority located in Richmond, VA. • Turf mowing:- Mow all designated turf areas to a height no lower than two and a half (2.5) inches and no higher than four (4) inches.- Complete all mowing using equipment that prevents scalping, rutting, uneven cuts, or damage to the turf and irrigation systems.- Mulch or evenly disperse all grass clippings.- Refrain from leaving large clumps or windrows upon turf mowing completion.• Trimming and edging:- For each mowing cycle, string-trim around buildings, trees, poles, signs, fences, curbs, and other obstructions.- Edge along sidewalks, curbs, and paved surfaces as necessary to maintain a clean, defined edge.• Litter and debris removal:- Prior to mowing, remove litter, branches, and debris.- After mowing, blow or sweep grass clippings from sidewalks, curb lines, ADA ramps, and paved surfaces.• Clean-up and disposal:- All waste and debris generated during the work must be removed from the work site the same day.• On demand services: When requested by the agency, the contractor shall perform the following Work:- Leaf removal.- Weed control/herbicide application (requires proper Virginia pesticide licensing).- Mulching and bed maintenance.- Tree/shrub pruning.- Storm debris clean-up.- Emergency mowing.
