Scope of Work
(1) Vendor needs to provide school support specialist services to the government authority located in Punxsutawney, PA.• Provide individual and group counseling services, design and implement coping strategies and support to identified students for the purpose of lessening the impact of social and emotional factors affecting educational progress• Availability to assess, develop, implement and monitor behavioral and mental health interventions for identified students• Provide group, individual and/or crisis counseling to identified students as needed• Coordinate and consult with appropriate school personnel on any identified behavioral and mental health concerns impacting school success• Participate on the SAP (Student Assistance Program) and any identified teams as requested by school personnel• Assist students with identifying and addressing any behavioral barriers to school success• Design, implement and monitor any behavioral interventions, if needed, to address identified barriers to school success• Engage in activities and/or presentations, in cooperation with the school counselor, to provide information on behavioral and mental health supports, or topics deemed appropriate by school personnel(2) The contract period will be for one year.
