USA (Palo Alto, California) – Water System Master Plan Services

(1) Vendor needs to provide water system master plan services to the government authority located in Palo Alto, CA.• The water system master plan will include a study of the city’s potable water distribution storage, pumping operations, water storage, hydraulic modeling, and asset management.• Delivering engineering consulting services for potable water system master planning. this includes engineering assessment and capital improvement program planning for the city’s water distribution storage, water supply, distribution piping network, and potable water facility sites.• Focus on asset management, energy efficiency, and supply resiliency to guide a proactive capital improvement program for the next 5, 10, and 20 years.• Update the City’s hydraulic model in Water CAD. Add all water pipes that have been replaced since 2019.• Prepare a water demand projection worksheet for new developments by use type. Review existing and historical data to assign demand by square footage• Identify target fiscal years for each major capital improvement project.• Prepare maps and descriptions of proposed projects. • Create a new model scenario for an extended period simulation for water age.• Water CAD model files of two month extended period simulation, water age, chloramine decay, and operational scenarios.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than July 24, 2026.(3) A pre-bid meeting will be held on July 8, 2026.
