USA (Newton, Kansas) – Food Service

Vendor needs to provide food service to the government authority located in Newton, KS.- To deliver high quality food service that can be audited against established nutritional and health standards meeting or exceeding a 2700 calorie per day diet;- Develop a minimum six (6) week rotating, dietitian-approved menu;- Provide complete recipe documentation and standardized portion specifications with portion control charts and yield guides;- Procure and deliver all food products, along with purchasing management and supply chain oversight;- Provide written preparation instructions for inmate workers;- To implement a food service plan with clear objectives, policies, procedures and evaluation of compliance including required reporting and documentation;- To maintain an open collaborative relationship with the County Sheriff and Detention staff;- To maintain standards established by the County, as well as American Correctional Association (ACA), and any applicable State and Federal Correctional Food Service Standards;- To provide a comprehensive program on food safety with training materials for inmate training and education;
