USA (New York) – Independent Transport Consultant Service in Africa

(1) Vendor needs to provide independent transport consultant service in Africa to the government authority located in New York. • Independent Transport Consultant for the Zero Emission Bus and Freight work in the Africa region to assist the team to deliver Transport decarbonization in South Africa, Kenya and across the continent aligned with transport strategy.• Provide technical expertise on transport to the Transport team on bus, minibus taxi, two and three-wheeler, and freight electrification, and wider informal transport and transport decarbonization in cities.• Review and provide strategic guidance on the Policy Brief for the Paratransit Electrification workstream• Support the Project Manager with webinar topics for capacity building activities with cities and on the gender mainstreaming work under the project• Conduct stakeholder outreach and research to understand the policy priorities and the funding landscape in South Africa, Kenya and across the continent.
