Scope of Work
(1) Vendor needs to provide rural medical clerkship development services to the government authority located in Missouri.- The contractor shall provide rural medical clerkship development for the department of health and senior services in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein and to the sole satisfaction of the state agency.- The contractor shall develop a clerkship program that supports at least three medical students per year for the duration of the medical student’s medical clerkship. For example, by year two of the program the contractor shall host at least three third-year and at least three fourth-year students concurrently.- The contractor shall develop and implement a clerkship program that is compliant with all medical school accreditation requirements for clerkship placements. - This includes focusing on hands-on patient care, integrating pre-clerkship knowledge, defining learning objectives, and providing real-world clinical experience to build skills and prepare students for residency.- The contractor shall develop and implement a preceptor recruitment and development plan, including recruiting preceptors to meet requirements for the core required clinical rotations which include internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychology, neurology and family medicine.(2) A pre-bid conference will be held on June 25, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
