Vendor needs to provide on?call, as?needed planning services to the government authority located in Escalon, CA. - Provide assistance in the areas of: Current and long-range planning services, housing element implementation, environmental review, permit streamlining & customer service, and special projects. - Services:• Current planning services: - Development review- Staff reports- Zoning interpretation• Long range planning:- Zoning interpretation- Specific plan and policy updates- Research and best practices• Housing element implementation:- Annual progress reports- Rezoning programs• Environmental review:• Permit streamlining and customer service:- Process improvements - Workflow evaluation, checklist development, and modernization of application materials.- Customer service support - Assistance with applicant communication, public inquiries, and front counter guidance.• Special projects (Representative, Not Exhaustive):- Annexation policy development- Zoning code amendments- Grant support graphics• Meetings and public hearings:- Hearing support- Interagency coordination
