(1) Vendor needs to provide state and local crime data collection and reporting service to the government authority located in Washington, DC. • Document crime data collection processes at multiple jurisdictions that vary by size, population served, urbanization, and other meaningful characteristics.• Estimate the accuracy of incident-level crime data that is collected, including offender data• Document crime data reporting practices regarding offenders, offense incidents, and other key elements• Compare the accuracy of crime estimates reported by jurisdictions with crime estimates from other sources.• Analyze information gathered from multiple jurisdictions• Convene experts to discuss common challenges with crime data collection and reporting practices
