Scope of Work
(1) Vendor needs to provide onsite rescue training service to the government authority located in Fort Knox, KY.• The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Rescue Training and Certification• Training will consist of two courses taught over a 14-day period, Rope Awareness and Operations Rescue (5 days), Rope Rescue Technician Level (5days) Testing and evaluations (4 days).• The classroom portion will include a review of equipment, knots and rope safety. Instructional events will include establishing the need for rope rescue, use and limitation of equipment, safety aspects, anchoring systems, rescue repelling, third man rescue, lowering systems, and any addition aspects of rope rescue• The contractor shall develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services(2) The contract period will be for one year.
