Scope of Work
(1) Vendor needs to provide transcriptome sequencing service to the government authority located in Beltsville, MD.• Conducts basic and applied scientific research to understand cellular dynamics of host-parasite interactions in goats, sheep, and rodents in response to antiparasitic drug treatments.• Agency needs ready access to advanced sequencing technologies to characterizemolecular changes in a complex gut tissue consisting of many cell types, including Tuft cells,goblets, and various immune cells (e.g., T cells, macrophages, dendritic cells, and neutrophils).• Transcriptome service should include three interdependent processes:1. Total agency extraction, purification and quality control.2. All unused total agency samples must be returned to agency in dry ice.3. Next-generation sequencing using an Illumina NovoSeq X sequencer or equal.4. Data QC, data analysis using recent algorithms, and data deposition to the agency(National Center for Biotechnology Information- Sequence Read Archive) Database, andthe final data package securely delivered to agency within 60 days after receipt ofsamples(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) Total Small Business Set-Aside
